Ducks' Players in Question for Frat Robbery

Oregon Ducks' quarterback Jeremiah Masoli is currently facing burglary charges for the theft of two laptops and a guitar from a frat house on campus. Apparently one of the frat stars reported seeing both Masoli and (former) Oregon receiver Garrett Embry, who had already been kicked off the team for unrelated charges, snatching the items from their frat castle late one January night. Coach Chip Kelly commented that he would wait to make any decisions about the fate of Masoli until after his arraignment this Friday, but maybe he should reconsider those babysitters?

It's not exactly a secret that the Ducks have had a pretty rough season this year off the field, but some fans have decided to go the extra mile in their attempts to get their team back on the straight and narrow. Now, the bitter person who posted this Craigslist ad in search of a "babysitter" for the Oregon Ducks may have been kidding, but I don't think it sounds like such a bad idea. I mean, after Kiko Alonso's DUI, Jamere Holland's Facebook dismissal and a handful of brushes with the po-po (think Masoli, James, Beard, Simms and Embry) a little bit of elementary-style restriction might be in order. If it isn't within Chip Kelly's power to ground his team of full grown men, I'd say investing in babysitters might be a smart move. I mean, $20 an hour to keep his players on the field? Talk about a bargain. And hey, if the boys are opposed to the idea of "babysitters", he could always go with the term "adult caregivers"... much more politically correct.
