LeGarrette Blount needs to learn that actions speak louder than words...

Quick bio: LeGarrette Blount is a talented football player. He gained over 1000 yards at the University of Oregon two years ago while being the backup running back, and he also was able to sign a contract with the Tennessee Titans despite having played barely any of his senior year at Oregon.

On the other hand, LeGarrette Blount is a fragile person whose behavior is both childish and worrisome. He missed most of his senior year at Oregon because of the now-legendary incident after the first game of the year versus Boise St., when he punched Boise St.'s Byron Hout because of a few choice words from Hout following Oregon's loss to the Broncos:

So Blount had almost a whole season to reflect on how dumb and overreacting he was, and luckily he had been able to stay out of trouble since.

Until now. Blount was back at it again during Wednesday night's practice with the Titans, taking a swing at Eric Bakhtiari after the two exchanged words. It's like deja vu all over again people:

I don't know what Blount's problem is with people verbally going at it, but he just doesn't get that football players talk a lot of trash and that you have to back it up on the field, not with your fist. Apparently, there won't be any negative consequences for this punch, as Titans coach Jeff Fisher said that he is confident Blount has moved on from his past actions. But given the eerily similar sequence of events in the two clips, I don't know why Titans coach Jeff Fisher isn't a little more worried.

Finally I couldn't end this article without a quick update on the Brett Favre situation. He has decided to play this year, while simultaneously saying that this year will be his last. You sly fox Brett, taking it to a new and more confusing/ambiguous level each time.

A’s Prospect Gives up the Game for God, Young Trading his for … Pole Dancing?

Grant Desme recently made the decision to quit a career in baseball to pursue becoming a priest, recently explaining that, “In the end, going to the seminary would help me be a better father and husband anyway. Baseball wouldn’t.”

After viewing video from after a night out on the town, is it possible that Tennessee Titan Vince Young might also be contemplating hanging up his jersey for more … risqué career? You can judge for yourself, but after checking out the footage I personally think Young would need some serious work if he ever wanted to make it to the pros of pole dancing.

Grandpa, Is That You?!?!

Eighty-six-year-old Titans owner, Bud Adams, is awaiting a bill from the Bills game. Aside from thinking it would be ironic to be billed after the Bills game, Adams also thought it appropriate to emphatically flick his own stadium off. When questioned about the incident, Mr. Adams insisted that he didn't realize his team was actually winning. When asked if he was aware that they had scored 24-consecutive points, Mr. Adams made a reference to his age and began to say something about chest pains around that point of the game.

Ultimately, Adams confessed to giving the "F.U." finger during the home game aware that his team was nearing a shut out of the Buffalo Bills, and he will accept any punishment from the NFL.

What remains to be seen is whether Adams simply doesn't want people to know he's losing his mind or whether he's really the most horrible old man alive.
