And the Strapping Jock Award Goes to...

Nothing looks wrong with this month’s Strapping Jock to us! This month’s winner, FSU quarterback Christian Ponder, may be battling a busted elbow, however he still wins games… and our hearts. Last weekend, Ponder took Miami by storm with 174 passing yards and two touchdowns. This weekend, him and his Seminoles still pulled out a win over Boston College, despite his elbow issues. Very impressive, we’d say. On top of his football glory is his business finance degree, his 3.7 GPA, and his active involvement with community service. Can he get any better? Probably not. The latest news is that Ponder is expected to rest until FSU takes on North Carolina on October 28. Our only question now is if we can be the ones nursing him back to health…
