And the Strapping Jock Award Goes To...

This month's Strapping Jock would fit right in at the recent Golden Globes with all the awards that he has won...21-year-old Cam Newton, starting quarterback of the Auburn Tigers, not only won the coveted Heisman Trophy last year AND the 2010 Associated Press College Football Player of the Year award, but was also just named the winner of the Manning Award, which is presented by organizers of the Sugar Bowl to the top quarterback in the nation. To top off these highly impressive awards, Newton also led his Tigers to a 14-0 season that culminated in an exhilarating 22-19 victory over Oregon in the BCS championship game. Newton threw 30 touchdowns, almost 3,000 yards, and rushed nearly 1,500 yards this season. WOW. And did we even mention what he looks like? At 6'6'' and 250 pounds, Cam Newton is a LOT to be desired. Not only do the ladies love him, but we hear that Brett Favre and Favre's agent Bus Cook are chasing him down in hopes of representing him when he enters the NFL. Let's all just hope that Favre doesn't taint our beautiful strapping jock as he emerges into the real world...
