Harrison Barnes Visits UCLA

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Barnes this fall at an Elite 24 party. I was incredibly impressed with all of the young men I met at the party. They were articulate, polite, and obviously talented.

Barnes recently visited UCLA, which is obviously a dramatic change from Iowa, where he grew up. Barnes reported that he enjoyed the frat houses while he was on campus. And who wouldn't with hot little LA undergrads running around? I bet UCLA can attribute half of their recruiting to silicone. But, that is here nor there.

Elite 24

Last Thursday I attended a party in NYC for the Elite 24. I'd like to congratulate the guys on such a great accomplishment. I had an opportunity to speak with some of the players and was very impressed. The guys were well-spoken and just really nice kids. My sister kept pushing Dion Waiters to go to Syracuse, apparently not understanding he had already committed. I also met Harrison Barnes who was ranked the top high school player by ESPN and was an incredibly nice kid. I wish them all luck in their careers and am glad I got a chance to meet them!
