NFL Playoff Watch: New England Patriots...

Heading into the last three weeks of the NFL season, some teams are starting to separate themselves from the pack and appear destined for the playoffs. Starting with the one team that has already clinched a playoff spot, here is all you need to know about the New England Patriots:

Studly looking pictures of Tom Brady aside (because I'm definitely not kidding about this), the Patriots have clearly looked like the most dominant team in the NFL since they destroyed the Jets 45-3 and then followed that up with a 36-7 annihilation of the Bears yesterday. The offense is clicking on all cylinders with Tom Brady's partner in crime Deion Branch returning to New England, and former Jets castoff Danny Woodhead has been one of the surprises of the season with his strong play. The Patriots finish with three home games (yes I called Buffalo a home game): If they continue to do so well on both sides of the ball against the Packers next week and Miami to end the season, you have to look at this team as looking just as good as that undefeated team did going into the playoffs in 2007 until they ran into the Giants in the Super Bowl. The offense will always put points on the board. If New England's pass D continues to improve, this team really has no glaring weaknesses. Not that I would expect a team with Tom Brady to have many. Damn you Gisele!
