NFL Playoff Watch: Atlanta Falcons

Now we're gonna take a look at the Atlanta Falcons, the only other team tied with as good a record as the Pats. This team may not be blowing everyone out like the Pats have been recently, but make no mistake, this team is incredibly talented. Every offensive skill position has one of the best players at their position with Matty Ice at QB, Michael Turner at RB, Roddy White at WR, and Tony Gonzalez at tight end. But this team isn't just about a few talented big-timers. The defense has been strong all year, only giving up more than 30 points twice, and it says something when a team has gone on the road and beaten the defending champs in the Saints. There is no doubt that Matt Ryan is starting to develop into a stud quarterback in his third year. The only thing holding this team back from the top spot is depth. They probably have better individual players than the Pats, but the Pats can seemingly put any player in and keep on moving (besides Brady). What happens if Roddy White gets injured? Not a pleasant fans for any Falcons fans, so I'll finish up by giving them something happy to think about:

Awwww yeaaaaaaa the dirty bird.

If Atlanta blows out New Orleans next week on Monday Night, they would prove that they are playing as well as anyone, including the Patriots.
