LeGarrette Blount needs to learn that actions speak louder than words...

Quick bio: LeGarrette Blount is a talented football player. He gained over 1000 yards at the University of Oregon two years ago while being the backup running back, and he also was able to sign a contract with the Tennessee Titans despite having played barely any of his senior year at Oregon.

On the other hand, LeGarrette Blount is a fragile person whose behavior is both childish and worrisome. He missed most of his senior year at Oregon because of the now-legendary incident after the first game of the year versus Boise St., when he punched Boise St.'s Byron Hout because of a few choice words from Hout following Oregon's loss to the Broncos:

So Blount had almost a whole season to reflect on how dumb and overreacting he was, and luckily he had been able to stay out of trouble since.

Until now. Blount was back at it again during Wednesday night's practice with the Titans, taking a swing at Eric Bakhtiari after the two exchanged words. It's like deja vu all over again people:

I don't know what Blount's problem is with people verbally going at it, but he just doesn't get that football players talk a lot of trash and that you have to back it up on the field, not with your fist. Apparently, there won't be any negative consequences for this punch, as Titans coach Jeff Fisher said that he is confident Blount has moved on from his past actions. But given the eerily similar sequence of events in the two clips, I don't know why Titans coach Jeff Fisher isn't a little more worried.

Finally I couldn't end this article without a quick update on the Brett Favre situation. He has decided to play this year, while simultaneously saying that this year will be his last. You sly fox Brett, taking it to a new and more confusing/ambiguous level each time.
