Apparently a Southern Connecticut man allegedly threatened his wife at knife-point after she canceled their subscription to ESPN. Aside from the obvious fact that the man is clearly not mentally sound, I personally feel like he really f'ed up a pretty good deal. Buddy, if you don't have ESPN at home, you have an excuse to be at the bar pretty much all the time! What man wouldn't prefer drinking at a bar while watching ESPN to watching ESPN on his couch while his wife and children nag him?
Apparently, the approaching Super Bowl increased this man's desperation for constant access to the sports channel. Apparently, the wife canceled the cable package because the family could not longer afford it. I wonder if they have ESPN in jail?
