Tiger named Athlete of the Decade...

The Associated Press announced Tiger Woods Athlete of the Decade this past week. What is even more remarkable is that of the 142 votes, half of them were actually submitted after the news broke of his scandal. Really??? You would think that such a prestigious entity with 49 Pulitzer Prizes would have chosen someone a bit classier to represent this past decade. Lance Armstrong and Roger Federer came in second and third, and our beloved Wolverine Michael Phelps came in fourth. I think its remarkable that we'll try and impeach a President for adultery, but we'll give Tiger an award, and not just any award... athelete of the DECADE award. No wonder kids growing up today are confused... too many mixed messages.
