FANatic: O's Fan Makes Cops Look Like A-Holes

Last Monday’s Orioles’ game taught me an important life lesson: apparently stadium cops and mall cops are first cousins. I.e. equally, if not more so, fat and lazy (as incredulous as that may sound).

Check out this video. For two whole minutes, the O’s security just sit back on their asses and wait for homeboy to get exhausted before even making any sort of pathetic attempt to stop him from running wild across the field. C'mon… You’d think they’d at least give it a half jog? A skip? Hell, just stick out an arm as he passes like you’re even trying? Nope. Nothing.

It gets a little old to watch, so once you’re tired of him weaving half-halfheartedly through the players, flick to 1 minute, 50 seconds. AFTER the fan gives up and surrenders, I would like you to just observe the smug attitude of the cop who “catches” him. Hmmm…Yea, good work Billy Badass. Now that’s what I call a job well done... Putz.
