So not many people know this but my place of origin, my birthing ground, my mother earth if you will, is Kearney, Nebraska. I'm not exactly sure how long my family was there, but I recall my Mom saying something like 3 months. None-the-less, I have always had a sweet spot in my heart for all things Nebraska. My favorite food growing up was corn, steak and rice all mixed in a bowl and every time I'd reach for my little spoon my Mas would bring up the fact that the water had tainted me and left a little piece of Nebraska running through my veins. In addition, one Ms. Pete Reilly and one Blanche Leitner on occasion have taunted me with the nickname of Carnie. I have shockingly small hands, and though they are bullies, I'm never quite upset because it always reminds me of Kearney.
Anywho, though I think my dear little Wolverines will be getting their asses handed to them by the Cornhuskers... I'm excited to welcome my corn and cow fed brethren to the Big Ten!!! In honor of this occasion I think some delicious medium-rare steak is in order!
