QUEEN BEE PRINCESS

Note, this is purely unrelated to sports, but still important none-the-less. Rue McClanahan, aka Blanche Devereaux, has passed today. Now, I am no philosopher or expert on cultural anthropology, but in my book, there are two types of women: ignorant, confidence lacking girls that never really understand the joys of class and positive karma and then there are Queen Bee Princesses. Rue was a Queen Bee Princess. She was elegant, wise, and captivated her community. The people who she surrounded herself with and those who chose to follow her, made her light shine bigger and brighter. Rue, was fun loving, humorous, and joyful, just as the character she played on Golden Girls and her spirit made her forever young and beautiful. No one is saying she was perfect; we all falter at times in life and learn the lessons we are meant to learn. However, in my opinion, mistakes and mishaps are a road map to wisdom, and Rue went through the adventure of life coming out on the other end with a glorious and fulfilling legacy. Rue will be missed...HEIDI you have some big shoes to fill. Rest in peace.
