Kareem Abdul-Jabbar recently disclosed to the media that he was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. Jabbar is expected to survive the disease with changes in his lifestyle and medications. Jabbar stated that he is seeking to raise awareness about the disease and about treatment like Magic Johnson did for HIV.
We wish Mr. Abdul-Jabbar the best with his treatment and many more years of kickin' it!
