Illinois Gets Second Win of the Season

A pathetic attempt to regain control over their season was futile, as Michigan lost to Illinois, 38-13. The Fighting Illini raised their record to 2-6; the Wolverines are now 5-4. Michigan’s lackluster performance included three turnovers. They allowed 500 total yards, 377 of which were rushing yards.

Next week, the Wolverines face Purdue at home. Hopefully they can pull through for a victory, but unfortunately the football gods just don’t seem to be on their side this year.
