No Lights in this Little City

Although the Wolverines revealed on Saturday that time of day does not influence their chance of victory, the game did lead to the discovery (at least for me) that night games are fun. I was watching the game indoors at a sports bar, so maybe this influenced my decision, but Michigan spent an absurd amount of money to renovate the Big House, so maybe they should consider lights. It's already ridiculously cold, so how significant is the loss of another few degrees? Plus, maybe this will convince fans to attend games against teams like Delaware State (this coming Saturday) even though Forcier has led the Wolverines to two significant losses in a row.

  1. I love the idea of a night game at the Big House. I also know that there has always been a great deal of concerns relating to drinking before 3 p.m. games, let alone a 7 p.m. game. Generally, the University likes games to start earlier so people have a limited amount of time to consume alcohol and other intoxicants before kickoff. Maybe they'll reconsider with the new addition.
