Michael Beasley of the Miami Heat was hospitalized in a psych ward for possible substance abuse and psychological problems. Apparently the MIami Heat don't appreciate self-loathing employees and encouraged Beasley to seek professional help. The other option, of course, would have been to ask him to join the teams Bible study group.
In other news, Heidi would like to know if she can join the Eagles' Bible study group.
The deets being reported are that Beasley has checked into a Houston rehab facility after posting pictures of a tattoo on twitter sporting some interesting baggies in the background. After being fined $50,000 for violating the NBA's ban on marijuana, the obvious conclusion drawn by many was that the bags contained marijuana prompting the team to request he enter rehab for drug abuse problems.
Perhaps more troubling than the moronic move of taking pictures with drugs in the background, Beasley tweeted "Y do I feel like the whole world is against me…I can’t win for losin" and “Feelin like it’s not worth livin!!!!!!! I’m done" before his twitter page was shut down.
