Diamonds are a girl's best friend

The Red Sox finally pulled off a win tonight against the Detroit Tigers.  After being swept by the Yankees, Steinbrenner and his followers were becoming quite arrogant.  Nevermind, they always are.  What I find humorous about that is that this series was the first time the Yankees had beaten the Sox all season.  Sure, "at this point in the season" every game matters more.  But, inevitably the Red Sox lag around this time of the year and swing back into action just in time for the playoffs.  In recent years, the Yankees have failed to perform during playoffs.  So, take that A-Roid.
